Lettering

Q:

How long will the vinyl lettering last?

A:

The vinyl that we use for both our lettering and our decals is a 6 year high quality vinyl. This rating is determined by the manufacturer of the vinyl and is an outdoor rating. Outdoor conditions vary by mainly the amount of sunlight a decal will get throughout the day.

Q:

Will I be able to install it on my own?

A:

Most decals are easy to install, only when you get into the larger decals do we suggest Either using two people to install or seeking a professional. Patience and planning is key, our Decal orders always include installation instructions and a squeegee.

Q:

How do you remove the decals?

A:

Depending on how long the decal or lettering is on a car determines how hard it is to remove. We recommend using a heat gun on low heat or a hair dryer on high heat to remove them. Using Goo Gone after removing the vinyl helps remove any residue left behind.

Q:

What's the best way to measure for a decal or lettering?

A:

Always remember that the area you wish to cover should be measured by the height and width. When ordering vinyl lettering also remember that lower case letters such as: "y", "j", "p" all drop below a normal letter, so when ordering lettering the bottom of the lettering is part of the height.
For example: If you wanted lettering to be 4" tall and the lettering were to say "Destiny" this contains a lower case "y" so the lettering is measured from the bottom of the "y" to the top of the "D". You should always consider this when measuring and purchasing lettering. .
